Our Vision

Unknown

This is who God is to the majority of the world… The Unknown God. People live their whole life not knowing their Creator and His care for them. Without the knowledge of God, people can’t have a relationship with Him. He sent His Son 2,000 years ago to rescue us from sin and death and desires us to come and trust Him. He is offering life, yet many don’t even know He is offering it. Many people in the world haven’t had access to this life changing message, and as a result are facing an eternity separated from God. Barriers like language, location, isolation, and geopolitical forces have prevented many from hearing the truth.

Known

This is what we are doing - breaking through the barriers to proclaim the Savior. This takes time and energy. Learning language and culture to the point where we can communicate clearly will be difficult, but this is key for heart change. When we have learned the language well enough we will begin teaching literacy. We want God’s word to be the foundation for truth, and without literacy their foundation for truth is what we are saying, not what they are reading from God’s Word. Before teaching Bible lessons, we will translate portions of God’s Story, this way we can point to this as our authority. We will teach Creation to Christ Chronologically, giving the people context for the wonderful Savior we will be presenting.

maturity

After the Gospel then what? Our goal in ministry is developing a mature church that has believers who can disciple and teach others God’s truth. This involves further teaching of this new Body, and discipleship of individuals who can lead the church in a Biblical manner. We will work on translating the Scriptures so that our missionary team is not the source of truth, but God’s Word is. Our goal is not to stay and lead this church by the hand forever, but to leave a mature church with the tools to continue on without us. A church that will go and plant other mature churches themselves.
